About the businessKatherine Hostel is a 30 bed residential facility which was historically identified as a low care service and now supports residents with complex care needs. This is a secure site with people housed in single bedroom & ensuite rooms. The facility is located by the Katherine River and it’s design is quite spread out with large garden areas and outdoor access to all units.About the roleWe have a number of opportunities for  Personal Care Workers to join Katherine Hostel. These opportunities will suit committed people who have care and compassion and enjoy interacting with our consumers within our facility. As the ideal candidate, you will be caring and bring your heart and soul to everything you do, ensuring Consumer Choice is front of mind and understanding that you will interact in a meaningful way to those living within Aged Care facility.Your role as Personal Care Worker will see you providing care and support within the facility, undertaking cleaning, bed making, personal care including grooming, showering, mobility and assisting with meals. To be suitable for these positions you must have open 24/7 roster availability, be open and flexible to work a rotating roster and committed to our company.
