ARRCS provides regional care and support to people and their communities throughout the Northern Territory from Darwin to Docker River with our purpose is to genuinely connect with the communities we serve, and enable our clients with agency, pride and dignity. About the roleLocated in Alice Springs or Darwin, the Rostering Officer coordinates the rostering of Aged Care employees, ensuring hours are met according to specific shift requirements across our 3 Aged Care Facilities. The Rostering Officer will accurately and timely fill the rosters according to staff contracts, ensuring maximum cost-effectiveness to the organisation. This role also involves high-level administrative skills and maintaining positive relationships with leaders and team members. About the job roleThis is a great role and if you enjoy planning, gap filling and engaging in an internal customer service setting working in a high volume job role then this role is for you. Your duties will include;Serve as the primary point of contact for all rostering enquiries.Set roster across for the facility according to Employment Contracts to ensure hours are met.Coordinate all rostering requests ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner to reflect consumer requests.Review leave requests prior to approval to ensure adequate coverage.Manage approved leave and unallocated shifts with Residential Managers and arrange replacement employees for any absenteeism and other planned/unplanned absences.Provide high-quality internal customer service to Managers, Employees and other ARRCS areas.Administer and maintain systems for email, rostering and mobile technology.Skills and experienceHigh volume rostering experience in an aged care setting (Highly Desirable)If no experience, a technically savvy person who is comfortable navigating Software systems with a tenacious can-do attitude Recognised qualification in Business Administration or  extensive recent administration experience in office administration or other relevant qualificationsCurrent Police Check Current NDIS Worker CheckCurrent 2021 Influenza VaccinationYou will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
