About the role
ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified Enrolled Nurse (EN) to support the team and residents at Pulkapulkka Kari Flexible Aged Care facility based in Tennant Creek, NT on a permanent full-time basis. Using evidence based best practice, you will deliver person-centred nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team.
You will work across a rotating fortnightly roster which includes both day and night shifts and provide clinical and team leadership, supervision and support for less experienced clinicians and support workers to achieve people focused quality care in line with the ARRCS mission.
Our Pulkapulkka Kari Flexible Aged Care facility - or PPK, as it is affectionately known offers a flexible aged care program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and those who are identified as members of the community. We have 25 beds in 15 single or double rooms. You’ll hear a lot of happy conversation, singing and laughter at PPK Tennant Creek, with staff taking the time to sit down and yarn. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working and supporting aged care in remote locations. You will have a firm yet caring nature and be a hands-on person who is always willing to jump in and support the team when required. The staff at our PPK Tennant Creek Centre family orientated and work collaboratively.
