About the roleARRCS Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility, located in Palmerston is actively sourcing a skilled Leisure and Lifestyle (Activities) Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.Located in Palmerston and walking distance from the Palmerston Bus Depot. Terrace Gardens is an 88-bed residential aged care home.This exciting position will see you working with an engaged and hard-working team as you prepare and deliver both mental and physical activities to our residents. This will include both on-site and off-site activities such as visits to the shopping centres, parks, recreational facilities etc. In addition, as the coordinator for the team, you will provide management and leadership to our Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinators.As the successful candidate, you will have a passion to working with an supporting the elderly. You will be supportive in your approach and understand how important mental and physical stimulation is for our residents.
