About the roleARRCS Home Care are currently sourcing a skilled Personal Care Assistant - Meals on Wheels to support our Meals on Wheels program across greater Darwin.This position is being offered on a permanent part-time basis working from 9am - 3pm Monday - Friday. Your role as Personal Care Assistant - Meals on Wheels you will be supporting our clients through the delivery and at times assistance in feeding our clients. You will be comfortable to travel to people’s homes and deliver meals on a daily basis. Skills & experience:To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following:Preferably prior experience in a support position working with the elderly.C - Class Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with full-comprehensive insurance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding and patience when working with the elderly.An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability or Home and Community Care is desirable however, not essential.
