This full-time position is based in Alice Springs, NT with regular travel to our ARRCS sites across the NT including remote communities such as Mutitjulu, Docker River and Nhulunbuy.  This role is ideally to commence end January 2023, with interviews to be conducted in the new year. The Welfare and Wellbeing Officer will be the primary contact for our Pacific Island workforce (PALM) who are joining us from the Pacific Island and will be involved in the day-to-day wellbeing of the teams. They will be a contact for emergencies, provide support and mentorship into community life such as sporting groups, leisure activities and general day to day living to allow staff to comfortable integrate into the local community. This role will work at times, flexible hours including outside of standard business times and will support the group to have an enjoyable experience of working with ARRCS.This role would ideally suit a person who enjoys providing support and mentorship to others. You will be comfortable to approach staff and ask questions regarding their placement and general engagement with both the organisation and living in Australia.
