About our organisation
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is a not-for-profit aged care and community service provider that was established in July 2014 and operates 13 Residential Care facilities and a range of Community & Disability care programs in the Northern Territory.
Our new location
Yutjuwala Djiwarr "Little Heaven, or Paradise" is the name of our new facility located in Nhulunbuy. We are proud to be providing a culturally appropriate service to North East Arnhem Land , the Miwatj region, where the first rays of the rising sun hit the land. Together we have gathered with the local First Nations people, to learn from each other, to share and to grow our story of care for the region’s Elders: the care we can collaboratively provide for the Elders.
Our new purpose-built Flexible Aged Care facility will be operational early 2023. With a strong focus on ‘Yolngu Care, Yolngu Way’ the culturally appropriate facility design and care delivery has been informed by the rich culture of the Yolngu people.
The project has been co-designed following extensive consultation with the Yolngu people of East Arnhem Land and health professionals.
We are looking for committed, passionate people - this could be you!
People residing in the East Arnhem Region are encouraged to express their interest in a range of positions. With a range of flexible work options including permanent and casual, this is a great opportunity to get involved with this new venture, providing culturally appropriate aged care and support.
We are keen to hear of any local skills that have a desire to work at our facility and encourage all to place an expression of interest through.
When the team are in a position to commence recruitment we will be reaching out to all candidates who lodged an expression of interest to advise them of our vacancies.

ARRCS Reconciliation Action Plan
Our Vision for Reconciliation is to advocate for First Nations people through our services in a way that empowers self-determination for economic, social, and cultural development. We will be unified in creating a place of belonging and respecting the connections First Nations peoples have to communities, lands, and cultures in the Northern Territory and beyond. At ARRCS, we seek to work in ways that reflect our commitment to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First People and to treat their cultures and beliefs with respect. We believe in coming together as one to ensure First Nations communities from East Arnhem land, to Darwin and to Kaltukatjara (Docker River) First Nations people will receive the quality services, comfort, and care, whichall Australians deserve.
